New Stuff
Photographic note. Due to elaborate exposure, flash and zoom techniques, many of these images have extended highlights compared to your usual live rock photo. This can give an impression that the image is blurred, with no sharp points. This is not usually the case; most images have a sharp point of reference. However to put larger high resolution images online would not be practical, due to the file size. Following are a few larger files of images shot in the above manner, hence their slower time to load. ***Groovy panoramic images, where separate photo's are stitched together to create one striking image. Images range from Big Day Out 2003 and Sunset Cinemas in Kings Park, to landscape shots in India. Files sizes are quite large, so the page may take a while to load.
***Images from London and Paris, as per the travel page, including many images from the anti war protests in London, the night war broke out with Iraq.
***Other highlights including going to an Aussie pub - the Walkabout, and watching the Indians fall in a heap in the World Cup Final. The sight of a bloke in the pub getting so fired up he decided to set his head on fire was so ridiculously idiotic - yet patriotic it would have bought a tear to a glass eye.

Much of this photography is shot at Amplifier and The Globe, on Murray Street in Perth. The support shown by the venue management to my documentation of the activities there has been relentless and unflinching. Jeff and the guys love rock and roll and they love the local music industry. They also value my documentation of the scene, and this is a special thing. As well as being a brilliant venue to see bands at, Amplifier is a venue with vision.
